From Margate to Dublin
The rest of the world is about to get a taste of what Northeast music fans have known for several years now: Nancy Falkow is awesome. The Margate-born singer-songwriter, who has resided in Philly for several years, is moving to Ireland where she and her just announced fiancé are to be married later this summer. The girl with the golden voice -- and a 1998 graduate of Atlantic City High School -- Falkow has shared stages across the country with talents such as the Indigo Girls, Daniel Lanois and Donovan, and has been recognized with numerous music awards. Her recently released CD, Clear View, -- a follow up to her highly praised debut, Smitten -- is a must for fans of high-caliber songwriting, beautiful melody lines and majestic soundscapes. Once overseas, Falkow says she plans on touring in Europe and will continue to work on her music. But first, she'll be planning her wedding.
